A Day of New Beginnings

Happy 2012!
I was so excited when I woke up this morning.  I was walking into the kitchen to make myself a bowl of healthy oatmeal (So far, doin' great with the New Year's resolution to eat healthy) when I noticed that my orchid had two buds.  Last year was the first year I had ever grown orchids.  This particular orchid had flowers from February until July.  Yes!  Maybe I will have some more beautiful orchids in a month or so.  I'll keep you posted.
